Mambare Pty Limited, trading as Valley Homes, was established in 1971 by Arne Baumann and Lindsay Hardy, who had between them 60 years of experience in the Building Industry. The company specialised in the construction of service stations for most of the major oil companies, as well as carrying out major projects for Grace Bros, Elcom (NSW), and the GUOOF.

In 1982, the company expanded its activities to the Hunter Valley residential market and Valley Homes was born.

Valley Homes has carried out major housing projects for the Commonwealth Department of Administrative Service, the Commonwealth Department of Housing and Construction, the Defence Housing Authority and the NSW Department of Housing as well as many individual dwellings. Valley Homes constructs around 150 dwellings per annum.

Valley Homes was the preferred NBN Telethon House sponsor and donated a house to the 1987, 1989 and 1993 Telethons (donations totaling $350,000) which helped to raise millions of dollars for worthy local beneficiaries. More recently in 2008, Valley Homes won the NSW Master Builders Award for “Energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.”

Valley Homes is proud of its reputation as a builder of quality dwellings, sold at a competitive price with no hidden expenses. Over the years Valley Homes has completed homes for the first home buyer utilising the available government grants right up to million dollars homes for the more discerning buyer.
